On June 14, 2005 the Dragon Boat Atlanta Team met with Gov. Sonny Perdue. The Governor wished the team well in their trip to Vancouver for the 10 Years aBreast Celebration. The team presented the Governor with team shirts for himself and the First Lady. The governor presented the team with a Georgia Flag to be flown in Vancouver to represent the team in the event.
